• Australia: National Australian Banks’ business condition index improved to 15 in July from 12 in June but confidence index declined to 4 from 7.

Upcoming:

• France: Q2 nonfarm payroll report will be published at 5:30 GMT.
   
• Japan: Machine tools orders report will be released at 6:00 GMT.
   
• United Kingdom: ILO unemployment report will be released at 8:30 GMT.
   
• Germany: Zew survey report will be released at 9:00 GMT.
   
• Eurozone: Zew survey report will be released at 9:00 GMT, along with employment change report for the second quarter.
   
• United States: NFIB business optimism report will be published at 10:00 GMT. JOLTS jobs report will be published at 14:00 GMT.
   
• New Zealand: Electronic card retail sales report will be published at 22:45 GMT.
   
• Auction: The U.S. will auction 1-month and 12-month bills at 15:30 GMT, and 3-year note at 17:00 GMT.
