- Australia: Reserve Bank of Australia kept interest rate on hold at 1.5 percent.
- Japan: Bank of Japan (BoJ) kept interest rate on hold at -0.1 percent. Nikkei manufacturing PMI came at 51.4 in October.
- China: Manufacturing PMI rose to 51.2 in October and non-manufacturing PMI rose to 54.
Upcoming:
- Japan: Vehicle sales data for October will be released at 5:00 GMT.
- Switzerland: Real Retail sales for October will be released at 8:15 GMT, followed by SVME PMI at 8:30 GMT.
- Greece: Markit manufacturing PMI for October is scheduled for release at 9:00 GMT.
- United Kingdom: Markit manufacturing PMI for October will be released at 9:30 GMT.
- Canada: GDP data for August will be reported at 12:30 GMT.
- United States: Redbook index will be published at 12:55 GMT, followed by TIPP economic optimism at 14:00 GMT and ISM manufacturing PMI at 15:00 GMT.
- New Zealand: Global dairy auction is scheduled today. Employment rate for third quarter will be released at 21:45 GMT.
