- Australia: Unemployment rate came at 5.6 percent in June. The participation rate is up to 65 percent. Full-time employment increased by 62,000, while part-time employment declined by 48,000.
- Japan: BoJ kept monetary policy unchanged. Press conference at 6:30 GMT
Upcoming:
- Germany: Producer price inflation report for June will be released at 6:00 GMT.
- Switzerland: Trade balance report for June will be released at 6:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: Current account balance for May will be announced at 8:00 GMT. ECB will announce interest rate decision at 11:45 GMT, followed by a press conference at 12:30 GMT.
- United Kingdom: Retail sales report will be released at 8:30 GMT.
- United States: Weekly jobless claims report will be released at 12:30 GMT, followed by flash consumer confidence at 14:00 GMT. EIA will release weekly natural gas inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
- Auction: Spain will auction 3-year, 5-year, and 10-year bonds today.
