FxWirePro: The Day Ahead- 30th June 2017

Lots of economic data and events scheduled for today and some with high volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • China: NBS manufacturing PMI improved to 51.7 in June. Non-manufacturing PMI improved to 54.9
     
  • Australia: Private sector credit grew 0.4 percent in May, up 5 percent from a year ago.
     
  • Japan: Construction orders are down 0.5 percent in May from a year ago. Housing starts figure is down 0.3 percent in May from a year ago. Vehicle production is up 5.5 percent y/y.

Upcoming:

  • Germany: Retail sales report for May will be released at 6:00 GMT. Unemployment report for June will be released at 7:55 GMT.
     
  • France: Producer and consumer price numbers for June will be released at 6:45 GMT.
     
  • Switzerland: KOF leading indicator for June will be released at 7:00 GMT.
     
  • Spain: Current account balance for April will be released at 8:00 GMT.
     
  • Italy: 1st quarter debt report will be released at 8:00 GMT.
     
  • United Kingdom: 1st quarter GDP numbers will be published at 8:30 GMT. Current account balance for the first quarter will be released at the same time.
     
  • Greece: Retail sales report for April and producer price inflation for May will be released at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: Consumer price inflation numbers will be published at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United States: Personal income and spending report will be released at 12:30 GMT. Chicago PMI report for June will be released at 13:45 GMT, followed by Michigan consumer sentiment report at 14:00 GMT.
     
  • Canada: Raw material and industrial product price numbers will be updated at 12:30 GMT, along with GDP data for April. BoC will release business outlook survey report at 14:30 GMT.
