Data released so far:

  • Australia: Building permits declined 5 percent in April, up 1.9 percent from a year ago.

Upcoming:

  • Japan: Consumer confidence report will be released at 5:00 GMT.
     
  • Germany: Import price inflation report will be released at 6:00 GMT, along with retail sales and followed by CPI inflation report 7:00 GMT and unemployment report at 8:00 GMT.
     
  • Switzerland: KOF leading indicator will be updated at 7:00 GMT, followed by the release of ZEW survey at 8:00 GMT. SNB chairman Jordon is set for a speech at 14:45 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: Monthly sentiment reports will be released at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United States: MBA mortgage applications report will be released at 11:00 GMT, followed by ADP employment report at 12:15 GMT, and Q1 GDP report at 12:30 GMT. Fed will release beige book report at 18:00 GMT.
     
  • Canada: Industrial product and raw material price reports will be released at 12:30 GMT. BoC will announce rate decision at 14:00 GMT.
     
  • Japan: Industrial production report will be released at 23:30 GMT.
