- Australia: Building permits declined by 1.8 percent in August, up 10.1 percent from a year ago. ANZ job advertisement for September declined by 0.3 percent. RBA kept the interest rate on hold at 1.5 percent.

- Japan: Consumer confidence data for September will be released at 5:00 GMT.
- Spain: Unemployment change for September will be reported at 7:00 GMT.
- United Kingdom: Markit construction PMI will be published at 8:30 GMT. BRC shop price index data for September will be reported at 23:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: Producer price index for August will be reported at 9:00 GMT.
- United States: Redbook index will be published at 12:55 GMT, followed by ISM New York index at 13:45 GMT and TIPP economic optimism at 14:00 GMT.
- Australia: AiG performance of services index will be reported at 22:30 GMT.
- Auction: US will auction 3 month and 6-month bills at 15:30 GMT and 3-year note at 17:00 GMT.
