Not many economic data and events scheduled for today, and all with low to medium volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • New Zealand: ANZ commodity price index up 2.8 percent in February.
     
  • Australia: TD securities inflation down 0.1 percent in February. Company gross operating profit rose 2.2 percent in the fourth quarter. Building permits rose 17.1 percent in January, up 12 percent from a year ago.
     
  • China: Caixin services PMI declined to 54.2 in February.         

Upcoming:

  • Spain: Markit services PMI report will be released at 8:15 GMT.
     
  • Italy: Markit services PMI report will be released at 8:45 GMT.
     
  • France: Markit services PMI report will be released at 8:50 GMT.
     
  • Germany: Markit services PMI report will be released at 8:55 GMT.
     
  • Greece: Fourth quarter GDP report will be released at 9:00 GMT.         
     
  • Eurozone: Markit services PMI report will be released at 9:00 GMT. Sentix investor confidence report will be released at 9:30 GMT. January retail sales report will be released at 10:00 GMT.
     
  • United Kingdom: Markit services PMI report will be released at 9:30 GMT.
     
  • United States: Markit services PMI report will be released at 14:45 GMT, followed by ISM non-manufacturing PMI at 15:00 GMT.
     
  • Auction: UK will auction 10-year bond today. The U.S. will auction 3-month and 6-month bills at 16:30 GMT.
