- Japan: Labor cash earnings grew 1.4 percent in July from a year back. Markit services PMI came at 49.6 in August.
- New Zealand: ANZ commodity prices grew 3.2 percent in August.
- China: Caixin China services PMI improved to 52.1 in August from 51.7 in the previous month.
