GMC has introduced the 2025 Sierra EV Denali with a starting price nearly $10,000 less than the 2024 model. Despite the lower cost, the electric truck offers the same 440-mile range, 10,500-pound towing capacity, and advanced features, including hands-free driving with OnStar Super Cruise.

GMC Quietly Adds 2025 Sierra EV Denali to Website with $10K Price Reduction

Although the 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 remains uncommon on U.S. roadways, General Motors has introduced the 2025 version, which offers a base price of $10,000 less than its predecessor and a range of up to 440 miles.

There is excellent news for those unable to obtain the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1. GMC has quietly added the 2025 Sierra EV Denali to its website, with an MSRP of $89,900, following the introduction of its sibling, the GM Ultium-based 2025 Chevy Silverado E.V. WT. Although still a premium price, it is nearly $10,000 less than the 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, priced at $99,495 (including destination fees). It is intriguing that, despite this update, GMC has yet to announce the 2025 model on its website officially.

2025 Sierra EV Denali Matches 2024 Model’s Features with 440-Mile Range, Hands-Free Driving

The 2025 Sierra EV Denali features are virtually identical to the more expensive 2024 model. It provides the same 440-mile range, a towing capacity of 10,500 pounds, and 800-Volt D.C. rapid charging, which adds over 100 miles of range in under 10 minutes. Additionally, the "largest hands-free driving network" in the United States, G.M.'s second-generation OnStar Super Cruise, is included in the standard features.

The vehicle boasts a panoramic glass roof, adaptive Air Ride suspension, the MultiPro Midgate, 4-wheel steering with a "crab walk" feature, and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capability, which can power a home for up to 21 days with reduced energy consumption.

According to Electrek, the Sierra EV Denali provides a compelling alternative for individuals who may need more time to purchase the Tesla Cybertruck due to its controversial design or associations but are still in the market for a premium electric pickup. With a comparable towing capacity, over 100 miles of additional range, and a substantially lower price—$26,806 less than the average price of a new Cybertruck—it is an appealing alternative for buyers who desire capability and style without the polarising aesthetics.
