“GTA 6” is making a lot of noise on the web again as its predecessor recently accomplished another milestone for the gaming studio. “GTA 5” has now reportedly shipped over 100 million copies worldwide, increasing the impressive $6 billion revenue generated by the title, Game Spot reported.
And since “Red Dead Redemption 2” has now been released, fans of the “GTA” franchise are wondering when the sixth title will hit the market. Unfortunately, Take-Two and Rockstar Games haven’t announced anything yet, and it could be years before “GTA 6” is finish.
The good news is that the studio seems to be making progress in developing the game. Called “Project Americas,” the name is supposedly due to the South American areas included in “GTA 6.” When the sixth installment in finished, players will be able to go back and forth between the United States and South America to complete certain missions.
However, it’s best to be wary about this information as Take-Two, and Rockstar Games haven’t confirmed anything yet. The studios have been quiet about “GTA 6” leading its fan base to speculate what exactly is going to be included in the game.
It goes without saying that Rockstar Games will take some pages on their playbook on what exactly they did right in “Red Dead Redemption 2.” Among the weaknesses of “GTA 5” is that secondary characters and most of the NPC inside the game haven’t been given the details they deserved. “GTA 6” will do well to follow “Red Dead Redemption 2” and how the recent title fleshed out side characters who aren’t just placed on the game to continuously loop in animation.
“GTA 6” should also incorporate areas that haven’t been seen before similar to what the studio did in “Red Dead Redemption 2.” But given the track record of Take-Two and Rockstar Games, it’s safe to say that whatever they have in mind for “GTA 6” will be something special. After all, this is the company that gave the world “Red Dead Redemption 2,” a game that is considered a masterpiece by the majority of the community.
