According to the man who voiced one of the major characters in the last edition of the series, “Grand Theft Auto 6” will contain a female protagonist, but it will not be "woke" because of her.
‘GTA 6’ Isn't Going ‘Woke’ Just Because It Has a Female Protagonist
Ned Luke, who voiced Michael in the fifth installment of the Rockstar Games franchise, told IGN as part of its GTFM video series that the latest entry in the franchise isn't becoming "woke" because it includes a female protagonist, labeling people who believe so morons. Lucia looked fine in the reveal trailer, Ned Luke remarked, noting that this isn't the series' first time with a female lead.
While some fans have been vocal about her, the “Grand Theft Auto 6” female protagonist appears to have been well-received overall. What her function will be in the game is unknown, as the announcement video did not show much of the game's plot, instead focusing on Vice City and the scenery.
The “Grand Theft Auto 6” reveal trailer, on the other hand, revealed how great of a visual improvement it will be over its predecessor. This enormous improvement in visual quality was further emphasized by trailer recreations created with GTA V's technology.
“Grand Theft Auto 6” is presently under development on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a 2025 release date.
Fan-Made ‘GTA 6’ Teaser Showcases Next-Level Graphics in Series Evolution
According to a new video put together by a fan, “Grand Theft Auto 6” will look far better than the last entry in the series, and the improvement in graphic quality will be huge. RavenwestR1 properly reproduced the announcement video for Grand Theft Auto V, emphasizing how vastly improved the next entry in the series would appear compared to its predecessor, which was initially published on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
RavenwestR1's attempt to replicate the “Grand Theft Auto 6” unveiling teaser in GTA V isn't the first, since GTA Belgium did one earlier this month. The new reproduction, on the other hand, is remarkably authentic, making it simpler to appreciate the stunning visuals of Rockstar Games' upcoming installment in the series.
There isn't much information available regarding “Grand Theft Auto 6.” The next installment in the series will feature two distinct characters and will take place in Vice City. According to the unveiling clip, the game will also enable ray tracing, which will take the game's graphics to a whole new level.
“Grand Theft Auto 6” will be released sometime in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. A PC version has yet to be announced, but there's a good chance it will be released after the console launch, as has been tradition for Rockstar Games for quite some time.
