"This contract gives us access to a big market in Southeast Asia, and we believe that ACASIA has a very strong infrastructure and market reach that will help us grow quickly. They will have rebranded versions of our Safeture app integrated in their offer and use their well-established networks to drive sales. This is a major breakthrough for us in the region and confirms that our local presence together in partnership with ACASIA is paying off."
For ACASIA, the agreement is part of the strategy of building a single market and driving growth in the region. CEO Azmal Yahya comments:
"We believe that through ICT, ASEAN will be able to accelerate its vision of becoming a fully integrated region with sound and robust economic roots. To support the ASEAN vision and integration, ACASIA had re-launched itself during the ASEAN SME Showcase and Conference 2015 in Kuala Lumpur thus bringing forth its new business initiatives centered around ICT. The partnership with GWS fits well into our ambition and adds concrete value to our product offering and thereby to our customers, especially in the wake of the ASEAN Community which was officially launched at the end of last year in Kuala Lumpur. The SOFEA+ and SOFEA Pro app will further assist in uniting the ASEAN Community based on the safety and security perspective of its citizens. We truly aim to create a more informed, safe and secured ASEAN Community."
