MECHELEN, Belgium, June 9, 2016 -- Galapagos NV (Euronext & NASDAQ: GLPG) announces that Euronext has selected Galapagos NV for inclusion in the AEX®1 Index on Euronext Amsterdam, effective 20 June 2016. Galapagos is the first biotechnology company ever to be included in the AEX Index.
The AEX represents the 25 largest companies traded on Euronext Amsterdam, subject to meeting Euronext Index Family criteria and review.
