George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are said to be on the verge of divorce as their marital issues just get worst. Based on the reports, the two are ending their four-year marriage because both of them are fed up already.
Radar Online previously reported that Amal Alamuddin moved out of their home and brought their twin children with her. It was said that she and George Clooney also filed for child custody cases but this news has been contradicted.
Hollywood Life reported that the $520 million divorce rumors between George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are not true. The publication stated that the stories were made up and assure everyone that the couple is doing fine together.
HL confirmed that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are still together when they appeared at the 23rd Annual United Nations Correspondents Associations Awards in New York. The latter was there to receive her UNCA Global Citizen of the Year Award and she was photographed holding hands with her husband. It was also noted that the couple showed more PDA throughout the night.
Prior to the divorce rumors being refuted, it was said that one of the cause for the separation was Amal Alamuddin’s jealousy. In fact, as far back as 2015, it was said that the lawyer prohibited George Clooney from hanging out with his Hollywood friends, especially the females, and mentioned Sandra Bullock in particular.
“Amal doesn’t want George to hang out with any female friends without her being there,” a source at the time reportedly said.
It was added that the “Batman” actor has no choice but to go along with his wife's demands so in the process he neglected his friends. After a while, George Clooney could no longer bear his wife’s actions so he allegedly filed for divorce.
This is not the first time that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have been involved in divorce rumors and they have proven through the years that the reports were wrong. Apparently, they are still in love with each other and focused on raising their twins these days.
