George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s marriage is said to be on the rocks. As their married life is crumbling, it was alleged that they have mutually decided to start dating other people once again.
The double date invitation
As per the National Enquirer, the pair actually started seeing, and it is even the “Batman” actor who reportedly invited other men to spend time with his barrister wife since their relationship is already turning sour. It was added that George Clooney and Amal Alammudin’s fundraising project where they are inviting couples to donate and win a double date with them in Lake Como, Italy.
In their video invitation, they said that it is for the proceeds will go to Clooney Foundation for Justice. However, the tabloid stated that the whole double date contest is actually just a front to find the best pair they can enjoy time with.
Explaining the truth
The report sounds suspicious, and some even find the whole story definitely shocking but really ridiculous. Observers pointed out that if George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have indeed decided to date other individuals, then they would have done so without the need to organize a fundraising activity just to find a date and cover for their real intention.
Gossip Cop also set out to determine if this report is true or not. The publication’s first action was to reach out to someone close to both George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, and GC got an answer.
The person dismissed the rumors by calling it nonsense and stating that it was a funny story, to begin with. He or she added that the couple does not even have marital issues as they are doing well together as husband and wife.
Clearly, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s marriage is intact despite the countless divorce rumors about them. The pair are happily raising their twin children - Alexander and Ella. Besides, it was added that this rumor first came out last year, and the fact that they are still together at this time proved that the rumors are not true.
Finally, to stop all suspicions, Gossip Cop also contacted George Clooney’s spokesperson a few times already. Time and again, they are always informed that these split or divorce reports are totally false.
