Germany's HICP inflation month on month is likely to be recorded at 0.1 % as expected by the market consensus, while HICP year on year is likely to print 0.4.
The CPI EU Harmonized (%mom) is expected by consensus to come in at 0.1, while it is expected at 0.3% yoy basis.
The flash estimates indicated that the energy component recovered from -8.6% yoy to -7.5% yoy, which added 12bp to the headline inflation, and a leap in food prices from 1.6%yoy to 2.3%yoy, which adds 6 basis points.
"We do not expect any changes in the final German HICP from its flash estimate of 0.3% yoy in November, which is a tick higher than its October reading", says Societe Generale.
