‘Girl Meets World’ season 3’s episode 11 is entitled “Girl Meets the Real World” and is set to feature a mean-spirited Riley. In the promo, she tells a secret that threatens to break friendships apart and is forced to apologize.
According to Movie News Guide, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) may finally show her darker and brattier side in the incoming episode “Girl Meets the Real World”. Although Riley is typically known for being a cheerful, optimistic and mature teenager, she may just take on a more rambunctious persona as she tries to explore the nature of humans for a school assignment.
Riley’s homework, a debate assignment, challenges her to think about people being naturally good or naturally evil, according to another article on Ecumenical News. It is unclear whether she would fake a less-than-charming personality to demonstrate this theory.
Episode 11’s promo opened with Riley gravely telling her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), “And now I have to tell you something… it’s gonna shake you up real good,” to which she is told to apologize. However, Riley seems to be enjoying being a bad girl and ignores the comment.
It is unclear what she has to be apologizing for. It is speculated that she may get into a disagreement with her group of friends. She may come out with a secret that will possibly threaten her relationships with Maya, Lucas (Peyton Meyer), and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) as well as her other classmates.
Meanwhile, Blanchard recently slammed rumors circulating online of her apparent dislike of her fellow castmates. One of the rumors also suggested that the show was facing impending cancellation because of her alleged rift with Carpenter.
According to Teen Vogue, the 14-year old Disney star addressed these rumors on a Twitter post. An excerpt of her post read, “I just wrapped and was informed that there were horrendous rumors spread about me and our cast. I don’t usually comment on anything like this, but I have spent the last half hour crying, confused as to why someone can stoop to such a low level to try to ruin the life of someone they don’t [know] personally.”
She continued, “I would never fake a friendship. The thought of that makes me sick. The cast and I love each other more than anything, we all have had a hard time this week because of it being our possible last week. It has only been hugging and reminiscing and loving each other.”
‘Girl Meets World’ season 3’s episode 11 entitled “Girl Meets the Real World” is directed by Ben Savage and written by Joshua Jacobs. It is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel on August 19, 2016.
