The previous episode of “Goblin Slayer” was basically a recap of everything that has happened in the anime, thus far. While many may think that it was just a gigantic waste of time, the episode actually helps in solidifying the main point that “Goblin Slayer” Episode 11 will be driving home. The upcoming installment will basically see everyone’s favorite goblin exterminator experience his biggest character development yet.
For most of the show, fans have only ever seen the single-minded intensity of Orcbolg in his quest to eliminate goblins. He will kill the hated creatures with a party or on his own if he must. He will also use any means within his disposal in order to accomplish his goals. Unfortunately, none of his past tactics are going to work in “Goblin Slayer” Episode 11.
He will be dealing with an entire army of goblins, after all, and with a fairly capable commander at the head of it. This is why he will need to ask for help from other adventurers and this is something that he has never done before. The only reason he would even do it in “Goblin Slayer” Episode 11 is because Cow Girl will refuse to leave the farm in order to save herself.
Left with no other choice, Orcbolg will use the only available option to him, which is to voluntarily ask for help. To his surprise, he will get a favorable response, as well. This is why the events had to be arranged in this manner and why the previous recap episode was necessary. It highlighted all of the reasons why the main character can ask for help in “Goblin Slayer” Episode 11 and get it.
From there, the real adventure for the iconic party can begin. Before that, though, there is a goblin army that needs to be dealt with. Fans can see how this will go when “Goblin Slayer” Episode 11 airs on Dec. 22.
