Just about a week since the first incident, it looks like an early model of the Google Pixel 3 XL has been spotted again in public. The said device was seen being used by someone taking the subway.
The photo, like the first time, was shared by a commuter with the Canadian website MobileSyrup. According to the report, one of their readers spotted the supposed Google Pixel 3 XL while on the TTC subway and snapped a sneaky photo of the smartphone in question.
Interestingly, the person who was seen using the suspected Google Pixel 3 XL was once again texting someone via WhatsApp when the photo was captured. The MobileSyrup reader was able to photograph the front and back sides of the device.
On the front, the Google Pixel 3 XL pictured on Monday reiterates the design leaked in previous renders that surfaced online. The bigger Pixel 3 model is likely going to have a tall display notch that houses two cameras — visibly taller than other designs but occupies lesser space in width.
The most recent sighting of the Google Pixel 3 XL also seemingly confirms what some smartphone fans do not appreciate. The upcoming device is going to have a much bigger chin. This rumored designed prompted some fans to comment that having a much bigger Google Pixel 3 XL unit might be a useless change if the device’s so-called chin will occupy more space than usual.
MobileSyrup’s reader was also able to snap a photo that shows the Google Pixel 3 XL’s back. Although the user’s hand partially covers the device, it is apparently exactly the same as the previous leaks.
A @MobileSyrup reader spotted this possible Pixel 3 XL photo in the wild on the streetcar in Toronto, Ontario today. Our team thinks the photo is legitimate, especially given the big notch and substantial chin. Do you think this is a photo of the Pixel 3 XL? pic.twitter.com/nPTGHmIVUO

Even more interesting is the fact that the user with the supposed Google Pixel 3 XL seems to be the same person in the earlier photograph. It looks like even though reports about the leak went viral, Google did not reprimand the guy. The Google Pixel 3 series is rumored to be unveiled on Oct. 4.
