“Grey's Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 4 has a lot in store for fans, including a new potential love interest for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo). For a while, it was kept a mystery as to who this could be. As it turns out, fans of “How I Met Your Mother” will be very familiar with the guy since it’s none other than Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) himself.
“Grey's Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 4 will feature a crossover with “Station 19,” not to mention a lot of patients whose lives hang in the balance. However, everyone knows that the most important thing is Meredith’s love life. In a recent piece by PEOPLE, it was revealed that the new man who could potentially be in the surgeon’s life is the guy who took forever to tell stories.
This has not yet been officially confirmed and fans will simply have to wait for “Grey's Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 4 to air to find out. Then again, it is rather interesting that Josh Radnor would be the one chosen to be paired with Ellen Pompeo’s character. After all, even though he is not particularly bad-looking, MacHottie is not exactly the easiest act to follow.
On the other hand, it would seem that this is just not going to be the case. In a recent interview with TV Guide, showrunner Krista Vernoff had already revealed that Meredith will be going on multiple dates. The one she’s going to on “Grey's Anatomy” Season 15 Episode 4 might just be one of them and Josh Radnor might just be one of the guest stars to run through this line when it airs on Oct. 11.
"What we're doing that's different than what we've seen is, she's gotta go on dates. Like in real life, love doesn't always land in your lap with the first date. And so, we're leaning into that a little bit," Vernoff said.
