The highest-grossing superhero film of 2014 is set to return with its second film as director James Gunn has just finished the script and is now baking in the oven.
Fans of Guardians of the Galaxy rejoiced as he took to twitter and Instagram and announced to everyone via a picture that he has already finished writing the script saying, ""So this is what happens when you take your brain between your hands and wring out its every last juice. Being sent out now.''
He also announced that the soundtrack for the movie is already good to go as he posted on Facebook saying, "Awesome Mix Vol. 2 is already finished - all the songs are in the script." Expect that more awesome and eargasmic songs will your way. And there could also be a possibility that Gunn will add in the soundtrack some pieces of David Bowie as his tribute.
Stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista will be back to reprise their roles as Peter Quinn, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax, respectively. It is without a doubt that there will be alterations and changes as the second film will be about Star-Lord finding his father. It was rumored that they were seeking Matthew McConaughey for a role in the film. Aside from him, they are eyeing Kurt Russell as well for the part but they are still keeping mum about the other stars who will be added to the cast. He is rumored to play Peter Quill's father.
Guardians of The Galaxy 2 is set to be released this May 2017.
