Data released so far:
- China - Producer price index (PPI) dropped -4.8% in June from a year ago. Consumer price index grew 1.4%in June from a year ago.
- Australia - Full time employment rose by 24.5K, while part time employment dropped by 17.2K. Unemployment rate ticked up to 6% from 5.9%.
- Germany - Trade balance came at € 22.8 billion as exports rose by 1.7% in May and imports dropped by -0.4%
- Japan - Machine tools orders rose by 6.6% in June from a year ago, according to preliminary reading.
Upcoming:
- Greece - Greece will declare unemployment rate and consumer price index at 9:00 GMT.
- UK - Bank of England will announce monetary policy at 11:00 GMT.
- US - Not many economic releases from US today. Initial jobless claims scheduled at 12:30 GMT. EIA will release Natural gas inventory at 14:30 GMT.
- Canada - Housing starts for June to be released at 12:15 GMT, followed by new house price index at 12:30 GMT.
- Japan - Corporate goods price details for June to be released at 23:50 GMT.
