Data released so far -
- Australia - Import price index rose by 1.4%, whereas export price index dropped by -4.4%. Building permits dropped by -8.2% in June from May, up 8.6% from a year ago.
- Japan - Vehicle production dropped by another -5.3%
- Spain - Preliminary reading on HICP showed drop by -0.1%. Spanish GDP estimated to grow at 3.1% y/y in second quarter.
- Switzerland - KOF leading indicator rose to 99.8 from 89.8.
- Germany - Unemployment rate remained same at 6.4%, with unemployment increasing by 9000.
- Euro zone - Economic sentiment rose to 104 from 103.5 prior. Business climate rose to 0.39, services sentiment rose to 8.9 from 7.9. Industrial confidence improved to -2.9.

- Germany - Preliminary reading on CPI to be released at 12:00 GMT.
- US - US GDP scheduled for release at 12:30 GM, along with personal consumption expenditure prices. Initial jobless claims and Goods trade balance also scheduled at same time. EIA will release weekly natural gas inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
- Portugal - Consumer and business confidence to be released sometime today.
- UK - GFK consumer confidence scheduled at 23 GMT.
- Japan - CPI for July is scheduled for release at 23:30 GMT.
- Auctions - US will auction 7 year note at 17:00 GMT.
