Since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani started dating three years ago, fans of the celebrity couple have been wondering when the two are going to tie the knot. Even gossip publications have been heavily speculating on this and published a slew of false reports that the two are already married.
But all those stories proved to be fabricated as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have yet to exchange vows. So will this pair ever decide to walk the aisle?
Judging by the previous statements of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, the answer is yes. However, it seems that it won’t be in the foreseeable future since both stars are busy with their own projects at the moment.
Gwen Stefani currently has a Vegas residency that will last until March 2019, while Blake Shelton will be coming back as a coach for the next season of “The Voice.” So the possibilities of wedding bells ringing soon are still uncertain at this point.
There’s also the fact that both celebrities have a bad experience when it comes to marriage. Blake Shelton’s divorce with Miranda Lambert was peppered with infidelity rumors, while Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, was caught cheating with the nanny of their children.
As this is the case, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani aren’t too keen to rush into the life of marriage but are taking their time to build the foundation of their romance. And this foundation seems to be solidifying as time passes by, as evidenced by the growing love between the pair.
One piece of evidence is the recent Instagram post of Gwen Stefani showing Blake Shelton serenading the songstress. The song that the country singer sang was “Turnin’ Me On,” a piece that Shelton said was inspired by none other than Stefani herself.
But it isn’t just Gwen Stefani that is growing ever closer to Blake Shelton but her three boys as well. During their three years of being together, the songstress’s sons have developed quite the liking for the “I Lived It” singer, a fact that is supposedly causing tension between Shelton and Rossdale.
Be that as it may, it still doesn’t change the fact that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are still madly in love with each other. And with their current relationship status, it doesn’t matter whether the duo is married or not for the love they have for each other is already on that level anyway.
