"Eric's financial talents and management experience within the CPG industry will be invaluable as Hail Merry plans for explosive growth," says CEO, Andy Malloy. "He's a superstar at scaling operational efficiencies, supply chain management, and business and marketing finance, which is precisely what's needed to help steer Hail Merry through this exciting period."
Eric Brown has accumulated over 25 years in food and hospitality, most recently as Vice President of Finance for Aramark Healthcare Technologies. Previous service includes Vice President of Finance with Frito Lay Supply Chain, and Vice President of PepsiCo Foodservice. Eric also spent time earlier in his career with Coca-Cola and the Campbell Soup Company.
"The last 10 months have brought about a remarkable evolution for Hail Merry," says Susan O'Brien, Founder and Vice President of Marketing. "An extensive brand overhaul unleashed a bold visual expression for our company that truly reflects the mind-blowing experience consumers have with our products. We've implemented a business strategy that's laser-focused on ACV and distribution growth. Our new line of 2-Count Cups provides the pathway to introduce and grow our brand across all sales channels. And now with Eric's financial leadership, we're firing on all cylinders and will bring Hail Merry to the masses. It's high time for consumers to say no to candy, and HAIL YES to fresh, clean indulgence!"
"We're relentlessly concentrated on the quickly expanding grab-and-go movement, which we believe is only in its infancy and is ripe with opportunity for our new line of 2-Count Cups," says Malloy. "We finally have the perfect entry-level product, killer branding, and a fine-tuned distribution plan in place. Eric's expertise in finance is the final piece to the puzzle. We can literally feel the momentum towards widespread consumer adoption and household penetration… We’re ecstatic over here."
