According to Nestlé’s North America Procurement organization, the goal of supplier awards is to strengthen and develop relationships to deliver the greatest value to both them and their suppliers. H.B. Fuller has shared innovative ideas with Nestlé in North America, including a new process to baseline current costs, and then help them sustain these costs at constant levels on a per unit basis.
“We are delighted to receive this recognition,” says, Rob Harmening, director of strategic accounts, H.B. Fuller. “I believe we won this award because we have a partnership approach with Nestlé in North America. We listen hard to fully understand what they need at corporate headquarters, in their plants and across their supply chain. Then, we work as a team to deliver our commitments and exceed Nestlé’s expectations.”
Harmening added that everyone at H.B. Fuller has been involved in helping to win this recognition. “Sales, customer service, research and development, technical service, manufacturing, legal, regulatory and many other groups have all contributed to making this partnership a true win-win.”
