Only 43% of Hamster Kombat players have qualified for the first season’s 60 billion token airdrop, the developers announced. Out of 300 million users, 131 million will receive tokens immediately.
The developers of the popular Telegram clicker game Hamster Kombat have disclosed the specifics of the ongoing airdrop for the first season of the game. They have stated that sixty billion tokens will be distributed to users who meet the requirements.
Hamster Kombat’s First Season Airdrop Details
Within an announcement that was published on X, the Hamster Kombat team stated that 75 billion of the 100 billion Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) tokens that are being created for the project are being distributed to the members of the community.
The developers said that sixty percent of the total token supply will be distributed through airdrops following the conclusion of the first season, while the remaining fifteen percent will be released during the upcoming second season of the clicker game.
Why Only 43% of Players Qualified
Eligible users will be able to obtain 88.75% of the initial 60 billion tokens that will be distributed instantly. The remaining 11.25% of the tokens will be vested and made available ten months after the token is listed on the exchange. As a result, about 53.25 billion tokens will be distributed to customers immediately through an airdrop, while 6.75 billion tokens will be distributed ten months after the listing of the tokens.
Hamster Kombat is one of the games that is expanding at the quickest rate in the Web3 category. Within its first 81 days, the clicker game on Telegram became extremely popular, with 239 million users signing up for it. Telegram’s founder, Pavel Durov, stated that the success of the game could lead to the adoption of Web3 by onboarding millions of users to cryptocurrency. This is because many users are new to cryptocurrency.
2.3 Million Users Blacklisted for Cheating
Despite the fact that the game boasts that it has crossed 300 million players, the Hamster Kombat team has also stated that only 131 million people are eligible to get its airdrop on September 26. This indicates that just 43 percent of the game’s entire user count will receive the tokens.
Additionally, the company reportedly stated that it had blacklisted 2.3 million members for cheating, as reported by Cointelegraph.
