A fan-favorite recurring guest role will return next month but not under great circumstances. McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) will face another enemy from his past in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10.
Avid fans of the show will need no introduction to Joe White (Terry O’Quinn). But to those who do, Joe was McGarrett’s commanding officer during his service time in the Navy SEAL. But aside from being his CO, McGarrett has always looked up to Joe as a father figure as well so his return in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10 will surely make for an interesting installment.
Unfortunately, Joe and McGarrett might not have enough time to catch up in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10 since they have to focus on evading the people that want them dead. The official episode synopsis reads that Joe and McGarrett are going to be hunted down by some people they have worked against during their time in the Navy SEAL.
The way the “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10 synopsis describes what’s going to happen suggests that a major fight sequence is about to unfold. Unfortunately, McGarrett and Joe seem to have several disadvantages.
For one, they will be in Montana in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10 — miles away from McGarrett’s team in Hawaii. It is unclear if they will be getting help but it is most likely that they have to fight their way out on their own. If the enemies traveled all the way to locate the two, viewers can also expect their all-out effort to kill Joe and McGarrett. Hopefully, they would both survive with just a few bruises.
Before the thrilling plot in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10, McGarrett will be on the island in the next episode to solve an interesting case. A well-known vigilante is murdered and it appears that the primary suspect is someone acting out as a self-proclaimed superhero. To find clues, the team will be digging up comic book stories.
Meanwhile, “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 10 will not air for another week. Joe’s return happens on Friday, Dec. 7, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
