After Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), it seems like Danny Williams (Scott Caan) is the next character being targeted by a personal enemy. This is likely the reason why his daughter, Grace Williams (Teilor Grubbs), will encounter a very serious accident in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12.
There are about two weeks left before “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12 airs on CBS but the official synopsis and other teasers are now out. This installment titled “Ka hauli o ka mea hewa 'ole, he nalowale koke” (A Bruise Inflicted on an Innocent Person Vanishes Quickly) will focus on Danny and his family.
Danny’s daughter and ex-wife Rachel Hollander (Claire van der Boom) will return in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12 for an unfortunate reason. Grace will be involved in a car accident that will almost take her life. While she survives, the incident will send her to a critical condition.
However, there is something hinky in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12 and Danny is likely, not convinced that it was just a simple accident. This explains why Steve will open an investigation to determine whether someone is deliberately planning to harm Danny and his family.
Meanwhile, “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12 could also be hinting at some parallelisms on the recent events in Steve and Danny’s lives. In the earlier episodes, Steve was attacked in the least expected way. Then, his enemies caused the death of his former Navy SEAL commander, Joe White (Terry O’Quinn), who he also looked up to as his father figure.
These unfortunate events lead to Steve’s upcoming reunion with his former lover, Navy Lt. Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth), in episode 11. Danny, on the other hand, will be reunited with Rachel in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12 because of Grace’s accident.
Steve and the team he will form in episode 11 are likely to make Joe’s killer pay. Now, there is a great chance that the task force will later figure out who wants to hurt Danny in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 12 airing on Friday, Jan. 11, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Then, this could be another storyline that will extend to the next several episodes.
