BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 10, 2017 -- Software-as-a-Service healthcare company Health Data Vision, Inc. has expanded its leadership team. Rita Young has been brought on board as Chief Operating Officer, making her the first woman to fill that role at the company and continues its trend of gender diversity. The company now boasts 33 percent female employees. Rita succeeds Michael Curran who has transitioned to VP of Quality/HEDIS® initiatives. Mike joined HDVI in 2013 with responsibility for operations. As he became increasingly involved in business development, he saw a need for dedicated leadership to drive Quality/HEDIS® initiatives, working with health plans to achieve measurable improvements in metrics, such as Star Ratings.

Rita Young arrives at HDVI most recently from Altegra Health, which acquired Outcomes Health Information Solutions, and where she served for 15 years building a global operation that served demanding health plans.

Mike Curran has worked in Managed Care for 25 years. He joined us from United Healthcare where he built a national HEDIS® reporting and improvement program. Prior, Mike was with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) where he was involved in measure-specification development.
