LISLE, III., Dec. 09, 2016 -- Healthy Ones and Inserra Supermarkets came together Friday to show their support for ongoing breast cancer research. As part of the partnership between Healthy Ones and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), Inserra Supermarkets hosted a special presentation at its ShopRite of Ramsey store in Ramsey, N.J. to make a sizeable donation to the BCRF. A check for $5,000 was presented during an event at the store.

The BCRF donation will benefit ongoing research worldwide, providing critical funding to fuel advances in genetics, prevention, treatment, and more. This year, BCRF is funding more than 250 dedicated researchers working to find a cure. The $5,000 donation will help ensure the researchers can continue their life-saving work.

Healthy Ones and Inserra Supermarkets have historically supported initiatives to help find a cure for cancer. In total, Healthy Ones has donated more than $300,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 2012. ShopRite supports annual fundraising efforts in its communities.
