Many people in the world today suffer from high blood pressure. Dietary and lifestyle changes are essential to keep the blood pressure levels down, as well as 30 minutes of exercise in the morning.
Although high blood pressure or hypertension can affect everyone regardless of how they look and their lifestyle, the risk may be bigger for some than others. One in four people in the United Kingdom have high blood pressure. On the bright side, there are ways to lower blood pressure readings, one of which is by regularly engaging in physical activity. In this case, 30 minutes of exercise every morning can help lower blood pressure readings.
It goes down to the question of what kind of exercise can be done through those 30 minutes in the morning. It really depends on the person. For instance, a 30-minute walk outside can already help with readings in the morning. That half an hour of physical activity is already as effective as the medication those who suffer from this have to take everyday.
An experiment was conducted regarding this idea, and the participants were made up of 32 men and 35 women, all of whom were within the age range of 55 to 80 years old. All the participants were randomly given different day plans with a six-day interval. The researchers that conducted the study found that the men and women who did the exercise plans had lower blood pressure compared to those who did not.
The female participants also had better results when they added three more minutes of physical activity throughout the day, compared to men. While the researchers did not know why there was a difference between the men and women who fared well, the result still arrived at the same conclusion. It is also worth noting that the exercise also worked wonders on the overall mood.
High blood pressure or hypertension occurs when a person’s blood pressure is regularly high, or exceeding its normal levels even when it changes throughout the day and the night. This results in the heart working twice as hard to pump blood to deliver to the rest of the body. Dietary changes as well as regular exercise can help prevent high blood pressure from occurring or occurring again.
