HOLLAND, Mich., March 10, 2017 -- Holland, a transportation industry leader in next-day delivery, has been named 2016 LTL Carrier of the Year by Vehicle Service Group (VSG) for the fourth consecutive year. The award recognizes performance across four critical competencies that include on-time pickup and delivery, administrative capabilities and safety.
The award is based on highest total quarterly scores related to:
- Operational Performance: On-time pickup, on-time delivery, corrective actions
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)/Financial: Accurate transmission of shipment details and invoices
- Claim-free loads, average days open and recovery percentage
- Safety and Responsibility: SmartWay partnership and FMCSA compliance, safety, accountability (CSA) scores

Last year, Holland was honored with two carrier awards from VSG. Holland was named 2015 LTL Carrier of the Year and was also selected as its first Overall 2015 Carrier of the Year. Recently, Holland earned the 2016 LTL Carrier of the Year award from Johnson Controls for sustaining the highest levels of delivery excellence.
