House Flipping Reality TV Stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa Help Build a New Home For a Veteran

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27, 2016 -- According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, about 11% of the adult homeless population are veterans. Why are so many veterans homeless? It’s a critical question that remains largely unanswered. According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a large number of displaced and at-risk veterans live with lingering effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance abuse, which are compounded by a lack of family and social support networks.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa, the hosts of HGTV’s hit reality show, Flip or Flop, alongside a team of Success Path Education employees who teach the El Moussa’s real estate investing strategies nationwide, swung hammers and pounded nails to help build a home for a Veteran.

The veteran family who is the lucky recipient is still undergoing the final screening and interview process by Habitat for Humanity, and is expected to be announced within the next few weeks.
