Executive Producer Peter Nowalk just recently talked with Entertainment Weekly to share some of the most intriguing details about the winter premiere.
"The first scene is immediately after we left off in the finale, with Annalise on the floor being shot. We go right back to that scene and we see the immediate aftermath of that moment," the EP told EW.
She explained what the upcoming episode will be all about. It will circle around the question of what Wes' identity really is and what is his connection with Annalise Keating.
With things being intense between the two of them, it is not hard to forget what had happened in the last episode where Wes' discovered from Annalise that his girlfriend Rebecca got murdered. And with Annalise plan of having herself get shot in the leg to blame a client, Wes shot her in the stomach instead which will totally affect Annalise.
The upcoming episode will also show how Annalise will recover from the situation and the series will give a new light to Annalise. As what all of us are used to seeing what with Annalise being the strong willed woman that she is, we will get to see a somewhat fragile version of her.
The exec producer said that a lot has changed in Annalise, both psychologically and physically, ever since that big reveal in the first half of Season 2.
