Time do fly so fast because in this week’s episode we will be seeing the last of the hit TV series ‘How To Get Away with Murder’ which ended its second season. But fret no more because we surely will be seeing another season of the Keating Five in the next few months. So before you start the long wait, let us have a recap of the show’s season finale titled “Anna Mae”.
The team behind the show surely knows how to send chills down everyone’s spine as they dish out shocking revelations after another and surprising stories. Twists and turns are presented every so often in the episode that many may attest to it as the best season finale for the show.
We begin with the Keating 5 (plus Bonnie and Frank) at Annalise's office, freaking out because they don't where she is. Laurel's goofy behind is all quiet, not saying anything when she knows doggone well that opening her mouth is part of the reason why Anna bounced. Meanwhile, Oliver hacked into Anna's credit card and sees that she is in Memphis.
It turned out that Annalise went back home and visited her mother. Everyone was all out happy to discover about the news of her coming home. Annalise has straight-up ditched everything and headed South to visit with her mother, Cicely Tysony Ophelia, who gives her a hard time for her sudden reappearance. Ophelia is more than familiar with Annalise’s many moods and wanted to know the real reason of her daughter visiting.
But instead of relaxing and keeping things low, her peace was cut short when her father came by to see her. She’s disgusted by the sudden reappearance of her abusive father, now back in her house and “courting” her mother. She clashes with her sister, who resents her for abandoning the family and their mother.
Meanwhile, Laurel was busy convincing Wes to not go to New York and confront Wallace about him possibly being his daddy. Thankfully, Frank interrupts them and Flaurel talk in private. Laurel immediately confesses to kissing Wes. Surprisingly, Frank is not letting this revelation ruin his life and when Laurel tells him about Wallace and Wes, Frank makes a face like he already knew. What could that possibly mean?
And as for the psycho Phillip, a big revelation was uncovered. It turns out that Philip was not attacking Annalise to hurt her that night in Wes's apartment. He was trying to get her to stay long enough so he could tell her that Caleb killed Helena Hapstall. Annalise then informs ADA Denver about this and both came up with a deal: He'll stop pursuing Anna if she gives him Philip and everything she knows to nail Caleb. And now with Caleb being wanted by the police, he was then seen dead in his bath tub. Could he have committed suicide? OR did someone kill him?
We shall find out next in the upcoming season so stay tuned for more updates.
