Customers could eventually pay for LINE FRIENDS merchandise with minicoin (MINI), Mini Labs' utility token, under IPX's planned phased retail rollout in South Korea and other markets during the first half of 2027.
The plan includes orders through the LINE FRIENDS website and sales at physical stores. IPX has not identified the countries or specific locations that would participate, beyond its broad reference to South Korea and overseas markets.
Under an agreement with IPX covering use of the minini character intellectual property, Mini Labs created the token and remains its issuer. Creditcoin is minicoin's base blockchain.
The planned system spans intellectual-property creation, consumption and transactions, connecting those activities with registration and settlement. The merchandise payments would give the character-linked token a retail use. IPX has set a first-half 2027 target for the phased rollout but has not given a specific launch date.
