Spanish electric utility Iberdrola SA had obtained environmental approval to assemble a 318-MW solar PV plant dubbed Ciudad Rodrigo solar farm in Salamanca province, western Spain.
The large-scale scale project will use over 826,000 solar modules and employ up to 800 workers during construction requires an investment of $215.6 million.
The construction of the Ciudad Rodrigo solar farm was supposed to begin in 2021.
Iberdrola had also finalized works on the 50-MW Villarino solar project, which is also in Salamanca.
