The Bank has added David Stanley and Aaron Newquist, who both bring substantial industry experience and a passion for Texas community banking to the company.

From the Bank’s Denton North location, they will support the development of the local lending portfolio and be tasked with growing Independent Bank’s market presence across Denton County.
David Stanley, was formerly Senior Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer with First United Bank and Trust Company. David is well-versed in commercial, professional and executive lending; with a recent focus on custom builder construction lending and integration with their mortgage lending operations. He enjoys serving the community through Rotary International and Boy Scouts of America. David is a graduate of UT Austin, and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
Aaron Newquist comes to Independent Bank from First State Bank in Denton, where he held the position of Vice President/Loan Officer. Aaron’s primary focus is on business banking and growing commercial real estate lending relationships. He is currently running for Denton City Council and is a strong supporter of the Kiwanis Club of Denton and the United Way. Aaron is active in the Denton Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Denton (and Chair-elect for the 2018-2019 session), and is currently in his final year of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas, and the 40th class of the Texas Tech School of Banking.
