Italian industrial turnover and order indices fall in June

Italian seasonally adjusted industrial turnover index dropped 0.5 percent sequentially in June. The domestic market index dropped 1.2 percent, while the non-domestic market index rose 0.5 percent. In the second quarter, the seasonally adjusted turnover index dropped 0.1 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index dropped 0.9 percent sequentially. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the index dropped 0.4 percent in the second quarter.

On a year-on-year basis, the industrial turnover index dropped 0.8 percent. The unadjusted industrial new orders index dropped 4.8 percent with respect to the same month of the previous year.

The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index dropped 0.6 percent sequentially. The first quarter stayed the same in comparison to the previous quarter. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index dropped 0.8 percent with respect to the same month of the previous year.
