Italian total producer price index dropped in the month of December. On a sequential basis, the total producer price index fell 0.5 percent. The domestic producer price index fell 0.6 percent and the non-domestic market remained the same. The percentage change of the average of the last three months with respect to the previous three months was 1.1 percent.
On a year-on-year basis, the total producer price index rose 4.1 percent. On domestic market the producer price index rose 5.2 percent, while on foreign market rose 1.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the construction producer price index remained the same in December and rose 2.1 percent on the same month of the previous year. The average of the past three months with respect to the previous three months of the construction producer price remained the same.
