‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 7, entitled “Chapter Fifty-One”, will find Rogelio attempting to get back into the dating scene by employing a matchmaker. He will date other women in hopes of forgetting his feelings for Xo. Meanwhile, Jane will return to church after Alba calls her on not attending and will bring Mateo along despite Rafael’s wishes.
The synopsis for “Chapter Fifty-One” posted on Broadway World reads, “When Alba (Ivonne Coll) makes Jane (Gina Rodriguez) feel guilty for not attending church, Jane decides she wants to bring Mateo against Rafael’s (Justin Baldoni) wishes. Rafael unlocks a long lost memory of him and his mother, which could be a clue in the Mutter case.
Rogelio (Jamie Camil) hires a matchmaker to help him get over Xo (Andrea Navedo.) Meanwhile, Jane’s cousin is starting to wear out her welcome.”
According to Ecumenical News, Rogelio will attempt to forget his feelings for Xo by dating other women. The telenovela star is set to employ a professional matchmaker to get him back in the dating world. In the preceding episode, he struggled with his feelings with Xo and found it hard to tell her about it.
In the promo, Rogelio is seen going on dates with various famous eligible “bachelorettes” including Denise Richards, Brook Burke, Heidi Balvanera, and Carmen Electra. He tries to woo them with numerous pick-up lines. It would be interesting to see if his flattery will get him anywhere with the women.
By the end of the promo, Rogelio squashes any hopes of a real relationship by telling Carmen, “I’m sorry I’m just not feeling it.” It seems that Jane’s self-absorbed biological father isn’t ready to pursue anyone else considering he still has feelings for Xo.
Meanwhile, Alba guilts Jane into returning to her spiritual obligations in the incoming episode. The photographs posted on K Site TV showed Michael, Jane, and Rafael in church. Jane decides to bring Mateo along but Rafael would not be too pleased about it.
‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3’s episode 7, entitled “Chapter Fifty-One”, is scheduled to air on The CW on November 28, 2016. It was directed by Gina Lamar and written by Sarah Goldfinger, Jessica O'Toole, and Amy Rardin.
