Like any big Hollywood couple breakup, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s separation is being hounded by countless post-separation stories. However, fans should note that not everything printed is based on facts.
The latest gossip involving Aniston and Theroux is about their supposed “nasty divorce.” Some tabloids recently ran stories claiming that the former couple is going head to head over splitting their fortune as they finalize their divorce.
The said claims insist that Aniston and Theroux are seriously bickering over the division of their $200 million assets, which allegedly led to “the nastiest Hollywood divorce ever.” However, gossip fact-checking outlet Gossip Cop claimed these reports are untrue.
First, Gossip Cop established that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux announced their separation earlier this year but divorce papers are yet to be filed. This already made the “nastiest Hollywood divorce” claims highly contentious. The news outlet also said that representatives of Aniston and Theroux have already talked to them denying the divorce rumors. One of the spokespersons even stated that these rumors are “too stupid to address.”
Earlier this month, Aniston graced the cover of InStyle magazine's September issue. For its cover story, Aniston was interviewed by her friend Molly McNearney. In it, the “Friends” star revealed how she feels about the rumors bombarding her, especially since her separation from Theroux.
Without mentioning the name of her ex, Jennifer Aniston fans assured fans that she is doing just fine amid being labeled that she “can’t keep a man” or that she “refuses to have a baby” because she is all about working. The actress simply called these “reckless assumptions.”
“No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally,” she added.
Unfortunately, certain tabloids immediately claimed that Aniston’s InStyle interview has caused more rift to her post-separation relationship with Theroux. One report claims that Theroux was “heartbroken” that her ex-wife discussed their separation which, upon reading the entire interview, was not exactly the case.
Over a week after Jennifer Aniston’s InStyle interview came out, E! News reported that Justin Theroux “is living life exactly how he wants to be in New York.” A source of the E! News also said, “They have completely moved on and are not looking back." Meanwhile, Theroux’s rep also reportedly said the story that he was heartbroken from Aniston’s interview was “fabricated.”
