Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have allegedly gone shopping for an engagement ring recently. According to Life & Style (via Gossip Cop), the couple went to Cartier in Miami to find the perfect bling as the ex-baseball star is supposedly terrified he’ll choose the wrong one.
However, since Life & Style is pushing this narrative, it’s best to take the article with a grain of salt. The tabloid has been known to publish stories that are completely unfounded. For instance, the magazine released a piece several months ago claiming that Brad Pitt was blatantly flirting with his co-star Margot Robbie. The story has long been debunked by reliable publications and it’s safe to say that this story about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez would fall on the same category.
What’s true about the couple is that they recently spend time together during a dinner party alongside “Master Mentalist” Lior Suchard. Although the evening was filled with a lot of tricks and illusions, the prank played by Alex Rodriguez and the rest of the attendees was the highlight of the evening. During the bit, Suchard snapped his fingers and the entire guests fell asleep in an instant, which freaked out Jennifer Lopez.
Seconds later, a few people started giggling and everyone was laughing and clapping shortly after with Jennifer Lopez joining them as she realized she’s been had. But Suchard didn’t let Alex Rodriguez off the hook.
The Mentalist did some real illusions to the former shortstop that got him stammering for words. Suchard made Alex Rodriguez read some words written on a cardboard which the baseball player couldn’t read correctly. Jennifer Lopez and the other guests were heard laughing at the background as Rodriguez seems to have been seeing the wrong letters.
Overall it was a fun gathering and Jennifer Lopez praised Suchard for the tricks he did. Alex Rodriguez also thanked his good friend for being the life of the party. As for when the couple is getting married, there’s still news regarding this development and the pair seems to be happy with what they have at the moment.
