The Economic Times reported that Jio Platforms Limited’s debut on Indian exchanges saw 81.88% of traded shares marked for delivery, a settlement figure that does not show how long buyers will hold the stock.
The outlet cited trading data from the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and put volume in its snapshot at 130.2 million shares: 106.6 million marked for delivery and 23.6 million outside that category. NSE reporting tracks the quantity marked for delivery and its share of total traded volume. These fields describe settlement treatment for a session, not a buyer’s holding period.
Exchange notices state that Jio Platforms Limited was admitted to trading on Oct. 28, with an IPO issue price of ₹1,119 per share. Reports gave different listing prices: Business Standard reported ₹1,358 and described it as a 21.36% premium to the issue price, while India Today reported ₹1,359. The exchange notices confirm the issue price but do not resolve the difference between those reported listing prices.
The company’s prospectus describes it as a technology platform focused on digital connectivity. It says Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited served 533.3 million customers in India as of June 30, 2026, and describes a fresh issue of up to 270 million shares.
NSE issue data showed bids for 22.19 times the shares on offer. EconoTimes covered the subscription close in its report on demand for the IPO.
