Jungkook 2019: How the Youngest BTS Star Adorably Stole the Show at BBMAs

The recently held Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) this month is another proof that BTS is one of the biggest music groups in the world right now. Then there is its youngest member Jeon Jung-kook, or simply Jungkook, who innocently stole the show in several ways.

For a few years now, BTS and Jungkook have been invited to perform and nominated in some of the most prestigious music awards even in the Western market. Their recent collaborations with American artists only sealed their growing popularity that also explained why they were sitting in front at the BBMAs.

Thanks to this sitting arrangement, fans immediately noticed that Jungkook was enjoying live performances while also munching on some snacks he brought with him in the event. Award shows usually take hours to finish that is why seeing the youngest BTS member snacking during the event was deemed relatable and adorable by thousands of fans online.

Apparently, this was not the first time Jungkook was spotted sneakily enjoying some snacks while at a live awards show. A fan shared on Twitter video clips of Jungkook and his snacking moments in 2017, 2018, and on last Thursday’s event.

Fans were also thrilled to see Jungkook being an ultimate fanboy while watching Tori Kelly perform live. Backstage, followers of BTS also took note on how he was quick to take the opportunity of having a photo with the American singer. Jungkook used to cover Kelly’s songs and upload its videos online.

BTS grabbed two awards at the BBMAs. They still dominated in the Top Social Artist category while also won the Top Duo/Group recognition defeating some very popular bands in America such as Maroon 5, Panic! At the Disco, and Imagine Dragons. And even while accepting their awards, fans’ attention is naturally directed to Jungkook for his very adorable and humbling reactions. The group also took the stage with Halsey to perform their recently released song “Boy With Luv."
