KFC launches its new "Quick Pick-Up" scheme as an option for customers to receive their orders. The system will allow people to have their orders delivered straight to their vehicles, and there is no need to line up in drive-thru lanes.
KFC's Quick Pick Up will definitely reduce waiting times for food pick up and customers will save a lot of time using this service. Their food will get to them faster while also skipping the queue at drive-thrus.
It was noted that wait times in fast-foods across the country including at KFC stores have started to irritate the consumers as it is taking a long time. There are various reasons why the wait times for pick-up orders have increased and KFC looked for a way to solve this.
According to Fox Business, the wait times at KFC stores are about to get faster after it announced the implementation of its Quick Pick-Up. This was designed for customers who do not want to line up in drive-thrus. The new concept will let customers to placed an order in advance and have the food delivered to their car once they arrive at the store.
The new pick-up scheme is already being implemented in some participating KFC restaurants in the U.S. There will be shorter waiting times especially this holiday season when things get busier in most establishments.
"Quick Pick-Up is changing the game by making fast food even more convenient and easy for busy customers," KFC US' president, Kevin Hochman, said in a press release. "Santa may not be able to give you the gift of time this holiday season, but KFC can."
CNN Business reported that KFC is also offering an incentive to get customers to avail the new option for getting their orders. The chicken restaurant chain is offering free large french fries for a $5 purchase if they pick up their food at a Quick Pick-up.
Finally, here is a quick summary to avoid waiting at KFC outlets: Using the KFC app or at the KFC website, simply place an order for Quick Pick-Up then head to the restaurant outlet and park in a dedicated VIP parking spot. Go inside the store and the hot food is ready to be picked up at the Quick Pick-Up shelf.
