The future of the beloved student council will be decided soon as the Election Day approaches. For Kaguya, Miyuki’s reelection win means more so fans should expect her to use all her resources to eliminate the competitors in “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?” season 2 episode 5.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?’ season 2 episode 5 spoilers
It was made clear by the previous installment that Miyuki’s reelection bid will not run without threats of defeat. Anime fans were finally introduced to Miko Iino, and that should be enough to show how she is a qualified opponent that should not be taken for granted. The protagonists will realize this much as should be shown by their next moves in “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?” season 2 episode 5.
As for Kaguya, she is willing to go the extra mile and to perform duties beyond what is required of her as Miyuki’s speech manager. In the manga chapters where “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?” season 2 episode 5 could be based, Kaguya even resulted in her version of intimidation to make another candidate withdraw from the election.
Kaguya also has Ai on the move to do some “research” on Miko. But Kaguya will also attempt to subdue Miko in “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?” season 2 episode 5. In the manga, Miko and Kaguya get into a heated exchange when the latter offers her full cooperation to Miko’s candidacy if she agrees to pull out of the race and only run as president next year. This naturally infuriates Miko but she will yell about how Kaguya and Miyuki are so alike and are perfect for each other. Those words are enough to distract Kaguya.
On the actual day of the election, where Miko and Miyuki go up on stage to address the Shuchiin students, Chika, Ai, and Yu also make an effort to help Miyuki’s candidacy. They are not exactly the most honest deeds, but they are hell-bent on making Miyuki win and continue working together in the student council.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?’ season 2 episode 5 release date
This anime series, based on the same title manga by Aka Akasaka, is one of the few shows which broadcast schedule remains unaffected by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. There is no announcement of any delays yet.
This means that “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?” season 2 episode 5 should be released on Saturday, May 9 in Japan. Exclusive airing of new episodes should be available shortly through Funimation. Other streaming platforms like Netflix will stream the new episodes a few weeks later for viewers in other parts of Asia.
