A roughly 70% reading in Kalshi’s congressional-control market pointed to expectations that Democrats would take both chambers, two days before U.S. voters are scheduled to cast ballots in the Nov. 3 midterms.

The estimate applies to the combined outcome of Democrats controlling the House and Senate. It reflects the market’s assessment of that possibility, not votes counted or an election result.

EconoTimes previously reported that Polymarket put the odds of a Democratic sweep at 72% on Oct. 30. That was a separate market reading from two days earlier, so the percentages do not represent changes in the same contract. The midterm vote is scheduled for Nov. 3.
