One of the newest anime series that went on air this summer is “Kanata no Asutora” or “Astra Lost in Space.” The situation got intense very quickly as the characters immediately got lost while on board a spaceship in the pilot episode. In “Kanata no Asutora” episode 2, the Astra crew will land on the first planet they will visit on their journey to go home.
“Kanata no Asutora” episode 2: Planet Vilavurs, Tur-gon, and Tree-poline
The premiere episode ended with the crew shunned 5,012 light years away from their home planet. Their only option is to travel through outer space until they find the right path. In order to find supplies and fuel, they also need to make several stops in unknown planets that Zach, the designated pilot, found. In “Kanata no Asutora” episode 2, they are landing in their first destination called Planet Vilavurs.
If fans have not yet noticed, the planet’s name actually spells the word “survival” when unscrambled suggesting that the first stop is going to be challenging. Throughout the series, the characters will encounter several types of animals and plants that could potentially cause them danger. In “Kanata no Asutora” episode 2, they will be greeted by strange creatures flying without wings that they will later name as Tur-gon because its noses look like turtle shells.
The crew tries to avoid the Tur-gons because they are potentially dangerous while they gather supplies that will suffice for 20 days until they land on the second planet they found. Kanata, who acts as the leader of the group, divides them into three teams to work on ship repairs, collect water, and scavenge for food. Later they find a tree with a surface like a trampoline, so they named it the Tree-poline.
“Kanata no Asutora” episode 2: Mysterious orb follows the lost children
While working on their tasks, Kanata and the others will be shocked to find that the mysteries orb that warped them onto an unknown location suddenly appears. After panicking and running from the sphere of light, the Astra crew will be separated in “Kanata no Asutora” episode 2.
However, these challenges will only highlight each character’s special ability that will prove to be helpful for their survival. For one, Aries’s photographic memory will come in handy, so they could all find each other and go back to the Astra. This incident in “Kanata no Asutora” episode 2 will ignite a debate among the group of the orb’s real nature with Kanata suggesting that its core could be a portal. A new episode will be released on July 10.
